The social media scheduler
your AI agent can actually drive

PurrPlan exposes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server: Claude, Cursor or any MCP client can read your calendar, write drafts and schedule posts across 12 networks — with your approval, never without it.

In short — PurrPlan is a social media scheduler with a built-in MCP server (app.purrplan.ai/api/mcp): an AI agent like Claude or Cursor can list your accounts, create drafts and schedule posts across 12 networks through 18 scoped tools. Included from the €19/month Pro plan, 7-day trial.

What an MCP scheduler actually changes

Without MCP, your AI assistant writes posts… that you copy-paste by hand into a scheduling tool. With PurrPlan’s MCP server, the agent does the whole move: it lists your connected accounts, creates drafts adapted to each network, proposes time slots — and you review and approve in the calendar. One sentence like “Prepare 5 posts about my launch for next week” becomes a scheduled week.

Connected in 2 minutes

1

Create your token

In PurrPlan → your workspace’s “API & MCP” page: server URL, workspace id and a scoped token, ready to copy.

2

Paste the config into your client

Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor… any HTTP MCP client works. Stdio-only client? Use mcp-remote as a bridge.

3

Talk to your agent

“List my accounts”, “fill my week”, “schedule this draft Thursday 9am”. The drafts wait for you in the calendar.

Client config (URL + Bearer):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "purrplan": {
      "url": "https://app.purrplan.ai/api/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer $TOKEN" }
    }
  }
}

A prompt that fills a week:

Prepare 5 posts about [topic] for the week of [date], one per day at 9am. Use my LinkedIn, X and Threads accounts connected to PurrPlan. Create drafts only and show me the proposed time slots for approval.

18 MCP tools, with separated scopes

Every token carries its own scopes (read / write / ai / media / inbox): a read-only agent can never publish. Revocable anytime.

Why PurrPlan over a classic scheduler

12 networks + your communities

Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Bluesky, Threads, Pinterest, Telegram — and via the extension: Facebook Groups, Skool, personal Facebook profile.

Agent-first, not agent-also

MCP is not a bolted-on plugin: full REST API, a dedicated page per workspace, server published on the official MCP registry (ai.purrplan/purrplan).

You stay in control

The agent creates drafts; publishing goes through your approval or through a write scope you grant explicitly. Every token is revocable.

From €9/month

MCP and API are included in the Pro plan — not a €99/month enterprise add-on.

Straight questions

Which MCP clients are compatible?+

Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and agents built with the MCP SDKs. For stdio-only clients, a bridge like mcp-remote does the job.

Can the agent publish without my approval?+

Only if you hand it a token with the write scope AND it passes scheduled_at. The recommended recipe: drafts only, human approval in the calendar.

How is this different from a GPT or ChatGPT plugin?+

MCP is an open protocol. The same server serves Claude, Cursor and your own scripts, without depending on a proprietary store.

What if I don’t use an AI agent?+

PurrPlan remains a full calendar scheduler with a mobile app and a browser extension. MCP is one more door in, not a requirement.
